Work With Me

I specialise in trauma-focused therapy with a focus on occupational health, supporting employees and professionals to improve emotional regulation, stress resilience, and day-to-day functioning at work. I also have experience supporting individuals with Functional Neurological Disorders, including Non-Epileptic Attack Disorder (NEADs).

Whether you’re managing the impact of past experiences, experiencing work-related stress or anxiety, or looking for practical tools to support day-to-day coping and resilience at work.

I’m here to support your wellbeing.

I integrate evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs, with a focus on supporting regulation, resilience, and functioning in daily life and at work.

Including...

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing)

EMDR is an evidence-based therapy used to support the processing of distressing or overwhelming experiences that can impact emotional wellbeing and day-to-day functioning. It was originally developed in the late 1980s and first widely applied in work with trauma, including military and veteran populations, before becoming a recognised treatment for a broader range of trauma-related difficulties.

I use a tapping-based form of EMDR, which involves gentle bilateral stimulation through rhythmic tapping rather than eye movements. This approach can be particularly helpful in supporting regulation and grounding, especially for people who prefer a more contained or manageable method. It is used to help reduce the intensity of distressing responses and support a more settled, regulated state.

EMDR can be used to support people experiencing:

  • Burnout and emotional exhaustion linked to workplace demands and pressure
  • Anxiety and work-related stress affecting focus, decision-making, and resilience
  • Depression and low mood impacting motivation, productivity, and engagement at work
  • Trauma-related stress affecting regulation, confidence, and interpersonal functioning at work
  • Chronic pain, fatigue, and health conditions impacting work capacity and performance
  • Functional Neurological Disorders (FND), including Non-Epileptic Attack Disorder (NEAD), impacting occupational functioning, consistency, and work participation

CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)

CBT is a structured, goal-focused approach that supports people to understand the links between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and how these can influence wellbeing and functioning at work. It is commonly used in occupational health to help people manage stress, anxiety, low mood, and work-related pressures more effectively.

Together, we’ll focus on practical, evidence-based strategies to identify unhelpful thinking patterns, develop healthier coping responses, and build skills that support resilience, performance, and day-to-day functioning in work and life.

CBT can be used to support people experiencing:

  • Managing work-related stress, anxiety, and pressure to support steadier performance and decision-making

  • Improving focus, concentration, and productivity when experiencing low mood or burnout

  • Reducing the impact of unhelpful thinking patterns on confidence and workplace functioning

  • Building practical coping strategies to manage demanding roles, deadlines, and interpersonal challenges

  • Improving resilience and recovery after stressful or emotionally demanding work situations

And...

  • Sleep difficulties and insomnia

  • Stress and burnout

  • Build emotional resilience to navigate daily challenges

  • Low self-esteem and self-criticism

  • Emotional regulation difficulties

  • Functional Neurological Disorders (FND), including NEAD

Working with Functional Neurological Disorders (FND)

Functional Neurological Disorders (FND), including Non-Epileptic Attack Disorder (NEAD), can significantly impact daily functioning, confidence, and participation in work and everyday life. They are often complex and can be misunderstood, which may add to the emotional and practical challenges of managing symptoms alongside occupational demands.

Therapy can support a clearer understanding of symptoms, help reduce distress, and improve regulation and confidence in day-to-day functioning. Using a trauma-focused, occupationally aware approach, I offer EMDR, CBT, and grounding-based nervous system regulation techniques to support stability, coping, and recovery in a safe and supportive way.
